Overview
We are seeking a fun, creative individual who desires to build a career in web development and play an active role in a wide variety of agency projects. From start to finish, the developer will take an active role in user-centered design and development processes in a challenging and fast-paced work environment.
Job Description
- Full-time (40-45 hours per week) employment
- Managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Take site concepts from design team and construct XHTML and CSS
- Use Photoshop or Illustrator to generate graphics for the web
- Site testing and troubleshooting
- Explore new technology, conventions and best practices to find techniques or software that will benefit the agency and clients
- Work closely on a daily basis with our creative and development teams
- Communication skills and ability to work as a team is a necessity
Job Qualifications
- Proficient with XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX
- Solid foundation working with PHP, MySQL and database-driven websites preferable
- Experience working with Content Management Systems
- Proficient in Adobe programs including Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Desire to learn and further skills
